Samson Adikwu Eigege is a seasoned lawyer with over 17 years of experience in dispute resolution, regulatory advisory, and institutional governance. He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and a Partner at D. D. Dodo & Co., a leading Nigerian law firm.

Over the years, Samson has gained strong experience in areas like litigation, arbitration, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance, working across sectors such as energy, banking and finance, infrastructure, labour, and public administration. He has provided legal and strategic advisory services on complex regulatory and commercial matters, while also supporting institutions in strengthening governance and accountability systems.

He has significant experience in international dispute resolution and major commercial transactions, including matters related to large-scale energy and industrial investments in Nigeria. His work reflects a strong commitment to professionalism, sound judgement, and effective legal solutions.

Beyond his legal work, Samson is committed to promoting good governance, sustainable development, and strong institutions. He has also contributed to policy and regulatory work in Nigeria’s energy and finance sectors, helping them improve transparency and make systems work better.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Benue State University and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Energy and Natural Resources Law from Queen Mary University of London, where he studied as a Norton Rose Fulbright Scholar. He has also attended several professional trainings, including the UNIDROIT International Programme for Law and Development (IPLD) in Rome.

Samson is a member of several professional bodies, including the Nigerian Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and the Association of International Energy Negotiators. As a Trustee of Mama Nnanna Foundation, he uses his legal experience to support the work of the organisation while also staying committed to making a positive difference in the lives of people in the community.
